WW1 Commemoration

A special commemorative events to mark the Centerary of the end of the First World War is being held in the Memorial Gardens, Llandrindod at 6:30pm on Sunday 11th November.

The Battle's Over is nationwide series of events marking the end of WW1.  Details of events nationally and globally can be found on The Battle's Over website.

In Llandrindod the event will be held in the War Memorial Gardens by the museum.

6:30pm Assemble for lanternlight vigil

6:45pm Trefonnen Primary School perform “Give us Hope”

6:55pm The Last Post

7:00pm Bells of Holy Trinity Church

7:05pm A Cry for Peace by Llandrindod Wells' Town Crier Jan Swindale

Town Criers throughout the United Kingdom and other countries around the World join together in an International Cry for Peace around the World.

Candles will be lit for all WWI names engraved on the Memorial

7:15pm "A Song for Peace" with the U3A Singers and the Pales Peace Choir
