With several of the existing committee ending their period of office in March, nominations are sought for new committee members.
The role of our committee is
- to oversee the financial management of our U3A
- to organise the programme of monthly lecture meetings
- to co-ordinate and support the functioning of the various interest groups
- to take any strategic decisions in making our U3A as beneficial to its members as possible
- to listen to and respond to the needs of members
Committee members may serve for a maximum of three years and several of the current committee members, including both our Chair and Vice-Chair, will have completed their term by time of the AGM in March.
If you would be willing to support the U3A by serving on the committee, please complete a nomination form and either bring it along to the February monthly meeting, or post it to the Secretary to arrive before Monday 25th February.
