On the afternoon of Monday 25th April 2016, Llandrindod and District U3A held a special afternoon meeting to celebrate 10 years of the local branch.
The meeting was opened by Llandrindod's Town Crier, Jan Swindale. Berwyn Woolnough, U3A branch chairman, welcomed everyone to the event including founder U3A branch members, and introduced Hilary Jones, U3A Wales Trustee. Hilary presented Berwyn with a card to mark the occasion.
The guest speaker was Dr Rami Seth, who entertained the audience to humorous and occasionally moving talk based round his topic of the English Language.
Afternoon Tea was served at 4:00pm.
