Group Leader: Stephen Ashley - email@example.com
The Group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30am, usually at Celf-o-Gwmpas (what was the Drama Centre by Trefonnen)
At each meeting a member takes us on a 'virtual journey' to an interesting place in the world.
In December we stay at home for a rest!?
In January we take off for Tanzania in the company of Brandy Clarke who was there during the turbulent times of the early 1960s. Her talk will illuminate a beautiful country and some largely forgotten history.

Then in February we stay closer to home and take a walk along the St Cuthbert’s way in the Borders country from Melrose to Lindisfarne. Our guides are Anne Harman and Vic Everill.

In March we leave for some well-earned winter sunshine in Sicily with Shiela Roberts.

You are very welcome to join us - no passport needed! And there are teas, coffees and biccies all the way!
We are always on the look-out for new destinations - they don't have to be exotic or far away, just interesting. Help is available for turning slides etc into presentations and we are a pretty relaxed bunch (do some come just for the range of teas and biscuits we offer?) and are very supportive of people who are not used to giving presentations. We use the U3a's own laptop and projector - again help is available.
Please contact the Group Leader for further information.
